MANITOU: 'Deadlock' To Receive Wider European Release In July

Finland's MANITOU, who feature in their ranks members of OMNIUM GATHERUM, MALPRACTICE and KAIHORO, will release their second full-length album, "Deadlock", in Sweden, Spain, Benelux and GAS on July 7 through Metal Heaven Records. The material on the CD is being described as a mixture of IRON MAIDEN, ANNIHILATOR, QUEENSRŸCHE, OZZY OSBOURNE, DIO, EVERGREY and JUDAS PRIEST."

As previously reported, MANITOU's video for the track "Fools in Control" has been posted online at their official web site (.MPG file, 29 MB). The "Fools in Control" single, which entered the Finnish single chart last month at position No. 2, also features a cover of MICHAEL JACKSON's "Beat It".

MANITOU's debut album, "The Mad Moon Rising", came out in 2004 on the now-defunct Rage Of Achilles Records.
